Ray is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and a Certified Wealth Strategist® and leverages close to three decades of financial knowledge and experience. In 1992, he began his career serving as an investment executive with a major New York Stock Exchange firm in Spokane prior to joining D.A. Davidson in 1995. Over the years he has served on the D.A. Davidson Companies and Davidson Investment Advisors board of directors, and on the D.A. Davidson's Managed Assets Investment Committee. He has been a member of D.A. Davidson's Chairman's Council since 2002.

Originally from Minnesota, Ray earned his BBA-Finance from Gonzaga University and is an active supporter of both his alma mater and the University of Montana, a member of the Bulldog Club at Gonzaga University and the University of Montana Quarterbacks Club. He has called Montana home for 43 years and shares life with his wife, Joely, and their three kids, Kellen, McKenna, and Aiden. He enjoys coaching youth sports, college sports, and golf.

Sydney Carlino, CFP®, CWS®

Sydney is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and a Certified Wealth Strategist®. She has been working in the financial industry since 2005. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson in 2008, Sydney spent several years as a mechanical design engineer in the automotive industry before transitioning to a career she loves in financial services and advisory.

A native of Miles City, Montana, Sydney earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University. She is dedicated to making a positive difference in her community. Sydney currently serves on the board of directors for TrailWest Bank, and is a former president of the board for Watson Children's Shelter and board chair for Providence Montana Health Foundation. In her free time, Sydney enjoys hiking, biking, and trail running. Above all else, she enjoys spending time with her partner, David, and their seven children and three grandchildren.

In 2015, Marla moved to Missoula from Caldwell, Idaho and started her career with D.A. Davidson & Co. Previously, she was an office administrator for 11 years with a large regional CPA firm. Other experience includes working with a law firm as an office assistant/paralegal and supervising the customer service department for a fine jewelry establishment. Marla holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and has met the standards required to hold the Financial Paraplanner Qualified ProfessionalTM and the Comprehensive Wealth Planner certifications. In 2018, Marla was awarded the D.A. Davidson Registered Client Associate of the Year for the Rocky Mtn Region. 

Besides work, she looks forward to spending time with her husband, Mike, their dog, Buttons, and two kids, Austin and Amanda. Her hobbies are hiking, recreational volleyball, reading, gardening, and volunteering as a member of Soroptimist International Missoula.

Megan Ingersoll

A native to Butte, MT, Megan graduated from Butte High School in 2014 before moving to Boise, ID to attend BSU attempting a degree in pre-med. After a year, she decided that Montana was where she wanted to be and transferred to the University of Montana in Missoula. There she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from the College of Business in 2018. Since graduating, Megan worked as an insurance producer for State Farm, having her property, casualty, life, and health insurance licenses, before landing her position as a client associate within D.A. Davidson & Co. She enjoys the insurance industry but is truly excited to be utilizing her college degree and start working in the financial services and securities industry. She is currently working to obtain her Series 7 and 66 licenses to become registered. Megan enjoys many outdoor activities such as golfing, playing slow pitch softball, waterskiing, and traveling as much as she can.
